Walt Disney And Salvador Dali’s “Destino” (Video)
October 21st, 2009 by Sina Ghost
Back in 1946 famous artist Salvador Dali and famed animator Walt Disney began work on an animated short entitled “Destino”. The project was shut down due to financial reasons and rumored to be shut down because of extreme content. In 2003 the animation was complete by a group of Disney animators but was only shown to few people at certain film festivals. Alas now a copy has been uploaded to the internet and we can finally see one of the most intriguing animations from our time (remember this was initially made in 1946). Salvador Dali’s surrealist style can clearly be seen in the animation.
