Over the past month since the devastating earthquake in Haiti, there have been numerous collaborative efforts by artists and musicians to raise money and awareness to assist in the rebuilding of Haiti. There was the remake of We Are The World, which by most opinions was a horribly done. We’re not here to knock the efforts, but for such a powerful song and star power, they could have done a better job. Recently Canadian Young Artists for Haiti rallied around K’naan’s Wavin’ Flag, which was also one of the theme songs for the Vancouver Winter Olympics. In this version K’Naan, Drake, Nelly Furtado, Kardinal Official, Esthero, Avril Lavigne, Hedley, Justin Bieber and many more got together to show their support for Haiti. Ehlife son!

Background: Coodie & Chike did Kanye’s “Through The Wire” Video. Clip is long but contains key info I didn’t know like: Dame Dash’s projects Creative Control & DD172 are actually a joint venture w/ Coodie & Chike. Entrpreneurialism at it’s finest.
