CONTRA attended Mini’s reveal of the their latest concept “the Beachcomber” at the Toronto International Car Show. For it’s Canadian appearance, Mini teamed up with luxury event managers Candice & Alison for a 50’s inspired beach party. While the show itself was noticeably smaller then previous years, Mini’s presentation was one of the more unique reveals that had people curious. They enlisted the services of fashion designer Farley Chatto, agency Elite models, hair & make up artist Ivy Lam, and product designer Jasin Dollin to bring together a sexy, urban tailgate. Pinup girls and all. Oh, and the car is pretty fresh too.
